The T42D-2U supports up to 8 CPUs and 96 DDR4 DIMM slots across four hot-swappable nodes, allowing up to 6TB of total system memory. This high-density configuration offers up to 440 vCPUs and significant virtualised workload throughput, ideal for enterprise and cloud workloads with high memory demands.

Modular Design and Serviceability
Its hot-swappable fans, tool-less HDD trays, and pull-out motherboard trays enhance ease of service and reduce system downtime. Shared power and cooling architecture reduces overheads, while the chassis’ intelligent airflow distribution ensures optimal thermal performance per node.

Smart Expansion and Storage Integration
The T42D-2U features a hybrid M.2 and PCIe riser design supporting both 2280 and 22110 M.2 form factors, alongside mezzanine RAID cards for SAS or SATA configurations. With up to 16 SFF drive bays and scalable RAID support, it delivers flexible storage capacity for growing workloads.
