The AMD(ATI) Radeon range of graphics cards are still to be found at the heart of many high end desktop PCs and high end workstations, and AMD(ATI) chips power the graphics in both the Xbox and the PS4.
In the current generation, the Radeon Pro and Firepro are AMD’s high end offerings, featuring stream processing based on R600 architecture, and multi display support up to 6 monitors. FirePro cards are certified and optimised for all major 3D applications for top performance and reliability, and AMD’s demand driven PowerTune technology keeps power consumption to a minimum.
The extensive AMD FirePro range covers many applications, in particular CAD/CAM, medical and financial display systems, display walls, media and entertainment and high performance GPUs for supercomputing and virtual desktop applications.
